The exportations of the Brazilian agribusiness were record in 2010, with sales that added US$ 76.4 billion. The value is 18% bigger than recorded in 2009 (OR$ 64.7 billion) and super in US$ 4.6 billion the previous record, conquered in 2008, of US$ 71.8 billion. The facts were widespread today (12) by the Department of the Agriculture, Livestock farming and Supplying.
The importings increased 35,2%, passing from US$ 9.9 billion, in 2009, for US$ 13.4 billion in 2010. With that, the balance of trade of the agribusiness recorded surplus of R$ 63 billions last year, US$ 8.1 billion to more than in 2009. It’s more than general superávit of the country’s balance of trade of the in 2010, that was of around R$ 20 billions.
