Brazil to invest US$60 millions in infrastructure

The sector of telecommunications needs investments over R$ 100 millions (nearley US$ 60 millions) US$  for the projects connected with the World Cup of 2014 and to the Olympic games of 2016, according to projections of the president of the Brazilian Association of Infrastructure and Basic Industry  (Abdib), Paulo Godoy.

Today, in a meeting with Brazlian minister of communications, Paulo Bernardo, Godoy assured that the companies of the sector are committed with the government’s projects of enlargement of the access to the internet in wide band.  “Taking the access to the internet to poors communities is important for the own development of the country and has fundamental effect in the education”.  According to the president of the Abdib, all of the emergent countries understands the need of offering access to the world wide web as a factor of development.
