One of the main commitments of the journey that president of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff, does to Buenos Aires next Sunday will be the development of the partnership between Brazil and Argentina in the area of nuclear energy. Rousseff and her Argentinean counterpart Cristina Kirchner should formalize partnership for construction of two nuclear reactors of research. According to the reporter Renata Giraldi, of the Agência Brasil, the plan is that each country build its own reactor from common projects.
The undersecretary of the Department of the South America, Central and of the Caribbean of the State Department, ambassador Antonio Simões, affirmed that both countries have common purposes of programs of nuclear development. “The plan is going to work in the peaceful development and according to the vision of the international community”, said Simões.
