Brazil should export 2 millions of tons of meat this year, according tothe estimates of businessmen of the farm sector. That represents an increase of 25% in the external sales in comparison to 2010. An article of the journalist Danilo Macedo, of the Agência Brasil, published today, sample that the country expects a gradual resumption of the importings of meat in natura from the European Union, that had hindered the Brazilian importings of meat in 2008.
The diminution of the exportations for the Europe, however, is being compensated by the growth of markets that import less noble, cheaper meat, as Russia, Hong Kong and countries of the Middle East. Like this, Brazil obtained, last year, sell RS$ 3.86 billion in beef in natura, an increase of 27% about 2009.
