Brazil Express Confidence in Egypt Leadership

Few hours after renunciation of the President of the Egypt, Hosni Mubarak, Brazilian Ministery of Foreign Affairs, the Itamaraty, relesead a note stating that Brazil expects that the political transition in that country consider the civil and political liberties and also the human rights of the population, beyond manifest the desire of that the change of power to happen in an environment of peace and safety.

The note says that Brazil accompanies with great interest the evolution of the political situation in the Egypt. Beyond important partner of Brazil, increases the Itamaraty, the Egypt has an important paper for the stability of the Middle East.

The notice also informs that Brazil reaffirms the confidence that the Egyptian political leaderships will know how to “face up to this moment of new opportunities and challenges, in environment of understanding and of democratic dialogue”.
