The governor of the Bahia, Jaques Wagner, said that the Port of Salvador becomes a national reference. “We are modernizing and extending a lot our capacity. That attends the demands of the market and puts Bahia in the front, when we talk about maritime transport”. He stood out also the environmental aspect of the investment. “Those machines use barely electricity, not sending the carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, what corresponds to 26 thousand trees yearly, another differential”.
