Strikers Fred (Fluminense), and Jô, (Atlético Mineiro), besides goalkeeper Jefferson (Botafogo), were announced this Monday, 24, by the coach of the Brazilian Luiz Felipe Scolari as the last three members of the list of players who will face South Africa in Johannesburg on the 5th of March. They are the only three of the group of 23 who travels to Africa in playing Brazilian teams.
Among the players who play abroad, summoned by Scolari are the goalkeeper Júlio César (Toronto FC), Thiago Silva (PSG), David Luiz, William, Oscar and Ramires (Chelsea), Dante and Rafinha (Bayern München), Neymar and Daniel Alves (Barcelona), Marcelo (Real Madrid), Fernandinho (Manchester City), Luiz Gustavo (Wolfsburg), Paulinho (Tottenham), Bernard (Shakhtar Donetsk) and Hulk (Zenit).
The final list of players who will compete in the World Cup will be released on May 7.
